Next, you should measure the volume of the chest, waist, hips and the distance between these horizontal lines, as well as shoulder width, chest height, front and back length to the waist. After all the measurements are taken, you can begin to build a pattern of a dress with a high waist. This process consists of several steps:

• On a large sheet of paper draw a vertical line with a height equal to the beginning of the base of the neck to the length of the finished product.
