If you want to make your own beer can cake, first you need to decide how many tiers it will consist of: for one you will need about 8 cans, for a two-tier 12-15, and for a large three-layer you will need a whole box. We will consider the most voluminous option. To make a cake you will need:

• 24 cans of beer (case);
• thick cardboard;
• scissors;
• wrapping paper;
• tape;
• rubbers;
• glue;
• glue gun;
• transparent tape;
• tray or round dish;
• optional - filling for the cake (nuts, croutons, chips, squid, small fish in bags).

If all the ingredients are ready, you can proceed to create a masterpiece.

Step by step manufacturing process

The base is a round tray, on which cans of the lower tier are placed (14 pcs.). In the intervals between them, bags of crackers are placed, bottles are wrapped in a circle with adhesive tape or tape. A circle of such a diameter is cut out of cardboard so that it can be easily installed on cans and notsticking out at the edges. Paste it with wrapping paper to match the purchased beer containers. A cardboard pallet is placed on the first row, and 7 more cans are placed on it in a circle, bags of nuts are placed in the center, tied with a ribbon. In the same way, the second circle is cut out of cardboard, pasted over with colored paper, placed on the second tier. The remaining three jars make up the top layer, in addition to which you can twist bags of dried squid and small fish, also tie a ribbon around.

How to decorate a cake from beer cans (photo can be seen in the article) everyone decides for himself: someone will like wide satin ribbons, for someone it’s more pleasant to immediately see the contents (pasted with adhesive tape), while others want to hide multi-colored jars behind thick paper frame. The whole decorating process depends entirely on the imagination and skill of the person who makes the gift.

Variations in the composition of the cake

The type of beer for such a gift should be chosen based on the taste preferences of the recipient. Close people are probably aware of which drink their relative or friend prefers. For those who want to avoid the state of intoxication, non-alcoholic beer is perfect. There are those who prefer a variety of cocktails to this foamy drink - they are also sold in jars and can be used as a component of such a cake. A completely alcohol-free option is lemonade.

If you don't like the beer can cake looking too tall, make it smaller. There are a couple of ways to do this:

1. Remove one ortwo tiers at once. By reducing the number of cans, the end result will not get worse: it is supplemented with snacks in the same way, decorated with bows or wrapping paper.
2. Find 330 ml cans of beer in specialized stores. They are lower than the usual half-liter ones, due to this the cake looks more natural, squat.

Addition to the beer present
