What you need

  • Transparent fishing line (you can buy it at a needlework store or ask your husband who is a fisherman).
  • Long special beading needle with fine eye.
  • Dark brown beads.
  • Light brown beads.
  • A few yellow beads.
  • White beads.
  • Shvenzy (special hooks for earrings).
  • Little scissors.
  • Contrast color fabric with beads.

Weave owls

  • The first row we cast on is in the widest part of the owl's body: cast on 2 dark brown beads, 6 light brown beads and 2 more dark brown beads.
  • We thread the last bead of the row from the penultimate side.
  • Thread the second bead from the end from the third side.
  • Do this action with all the beads.
  • Starting the next row: to do this, we collect one dark brown bead on the fishing line and thread the needle into the loop between the first and second bead of the first row.
  • Thus we add 1 more dark brown, 5 light brown and 2 dark brown beads.
  • The third row is woven in the same way as the second:we braid 2 dark brown, 4 light brown and 2 dark brown beads.
  • The fourth row consists of 2 dark brown, 3 light brown and 2 more dark brown beads.
  • You should have 6 dark brown beads on the fifth row.
  • In the sixth row, braid 5 dark brown beads.
  • Now make the paws, to do this, dial 3 dark brown beads, thread the line through the second, third and fourth beads, dial 3 more of the same color and thread the line into part 5.
  • Fix and cut the line.
  • Now we will make the upper part of the owl: to the row that you wove first, weave 2 dark brown, 5 light brown and 2 dark brown beads (we will re-count the rows from the middle row, the row that you just wove, let's call the second).
  • Weave the third row from the top with 8 dark brown beads.
  • In the fourth row, 3 dark brown, 1 yellow and 3 dark brown beads.
  • Next, we will separately weave the head and connect the body with it.
  • For the head weave the first row of 1 dark brown, 1 white, 1 light brown, 1 white, 1 dark brown, 1 white, 1 light brown, 1 white and 1 dark brown.
  • Weave to this row from below one row of 1 dark brown, 2 white, 2 yellow, 2 white, 1 dark brown beads.

From above to this row weave 2 rows as follows:

  • First row: 1 dark brown, 2 white, 2 dark brown, 2 white, 1 dark brown.
  • The second row consists of 7dark brown beads.
  • The beaded owl has “ears” on its head, they are made in the same way as you did the paws.
  • Connect the head to the body.

The beaded owl is ready, attach the accessories to it and you will get wonderful earrings.

Decoration "Owl" on a dense base

This decoration will be made using the "bead embroidery" technique. The owl that you get as a result of sewing beads onto a piece of leather can be used as a hairpin, pendant or brooch.

The tools you need to make this decoration

  • White beads (size 6, 10, 11).
  • Oblong white beads (rice).
  • Elongated Graphite Color Beads (rice).
  • Silver color beads (size 15).
  • Graphite color beads.
  • Large amber rhinestones.
  • Leather.
  • Super glue.
  • A sheet of thick paper.
  • Thin fishing line.
  • Flizelin on a fabric basis.
  • Long beaded needle with a thin eye.
  • Finishings for the decoration you want to make (brooch pin, metal eyelet and chain for pendant or barrette).

Owl embroidered with beads

  • We collect 30 beads of white color No. 10 and make a ring out of them.
  • Brickweaving (how it is done, we described in the previous master class) braid a row of white beads of size 11.
  • Weave the next row with size 15 silver beads.
  • The fourth row is also weaved with silver beads.
  • Insert an amber bead into the resulting ring.
  • Weave another ring in the same pattern and insert the second bead into it, securing it with two rows of silver beads.
  • We attach silver beads to the ring from the wrong side.
  • We take a rectangular piece of non-woven base and, stepping back two cm from the top edge and 1.5 cm from the sides, sew the braided beads close to each other.
  • We sew each eye in a circle with white beads No. 10: to do this, stick a needle into the fabric near the bead, string a bead on the fishing line, sew it to the fabric, making a loop around it, sew the next bead near the first, process the entire circumference of the eye.
  • Make three "eyelashes" of oblong white beads at the top of each eye.
  • Sew a horizontally oblong graphite-colored bead between the eyes below.
  • Draw a semicircle torso under the already embroidered owl eyes.
  • Sew around this circle with size 10 white beads.
  • Embroider the first row of the body with white beads No. 6 in the form of two semicircles. The beginning of the first semicircle will be near the first bead, and the end near the nose of the owl, the second semicircle starts from the nose and ends near the opposite border.
  • Alternating beads of white and hematite color, row after row, fill in the entire torso.
  • Glue a piece of thick paper to the non-woven base on which the owl is embroidered.
  • Glue thin skin to the paper.
  • Cut excess material around the owl's office.
  • Sew horizontally 3 white oblong beads from both edges immediately under the eyes - these will be wings.
  • Sew two legs of three oblong graphite beads to the bottom of the owl's body.
  • Sew around the owl to hide any loose leather edges.
  • Sew on fittings.
