Are you a beginner needlewoman and are you interested in knitting, simple patterns, patterns and techniques? Then this article is for you. After all, you have recently learned to knit, and you, of course, want to please your loved ones with beautiful things. Complex patterns are not yet available to you, or are you not confident in your abilities? In this case, it will be more correct to start with a simple one, gain experience and then move on to more difficult schemes. Do not be discouraged that you are not yet subject to beautiful openwork and reliefs, because you can knit unique and original products from a combination of front and back. So which simple knitting pattern are we looking at first?
garter stitch and its uses
One of the simplest and most common patterns is garter stitch. It is performed with facial loops in all rows (even and odd). Agree that it's easy? This pattern is used mainly for knitting hats, scarves and clothes for babies. With this knitting, the same pattern is obtained from both the front and the wrong side. The fabric is quite soft, voluminous and stretches well. The main condition when performing garter knitting is accuracy. In this case, the product made in garter stitch will be even and beautiful.
To diversify the usual garter stitch, for example, when knitting a stole, you can use knitting needles of several sizes. Having knitted several rows on knitting needles No. 6, we switch to knitting needles No. 2, then we change them again. It turns out a very beautiful canvas - airy and embossed. It is especially good to use angora yarn or other downy threads for this occasion.
Two-tone knitting also looks very nice. Using different bright colors, you can make a beautiful set for the baby. For example, a hat and a scarf. Or for an older child - a sweater and leggings.
Stocking
Another simple knitting pattern is stocking stitch. This type of knitting is even more common than the previous one. Sweatshirts, dresses, hats and so on are knitted in this way. Stocking stitch is single sided.
It is carried out as follows: all odd rows of the fabric are knitted with facial loops, all even rows are purl. For a more even and smooth knitting, the front loops are knitted for the upper shares.
And by alternately knitting front and back loops, you can knit a pattern such as an elastic band. The width of the stripes can be different from 1x1 loops to three andmore.
Here is another fairly simple knitting pattern - "tangle". This, like garter stitch, is a double-sided pattern. With it, you can knit dresses, children's sets, sweaters, scarves and so on. Sometimes such knitting is called "pearl". In order to complete it, you need to dial an even number of loops on the knitting needles and knit as follows. In the first row, we alternate one front and one wrong side, in the second row, vice versa - one wrong side and one front. It's very simple.
Simple beautiful knitting patterns. Large cells
This pattern is more difficult to make. But learning to knit is easy. With it, you can knit beautiful things for kids, socks, mittens and so on. And if you use two colors, it turns out even better. The photo shows mittens knitted in this way.
Perform it like this: in rows 1 and 9, all loops are purl; in the 2nd and 10th rows - all loops are facial. 3, 5 and 7 rows should be knitted like this - first 4 front loops, then 2 loops are removed (the thread should be at work) and so repeat until the end of the row. 4, 6 and 8 rows are knitted as follows - 4 purl loops, then two loops are removed (but the thread is already before work), we continue this way until the end of the row. In the 11th, 13th and 15th rows, 1 front loop is first knitted, then 2 loops are removed (the thread is at work), we finish with 4 front loops. In these rows, the first front loop is knitted only at the beginning, the rest of the loops are repeated until the end of the row. And finally, 12, 14 and 16 rowsthey knit like this - the first purl loop (does not repeat until the end of the row), then 2 loops are removed (the thread should be before work) and again 4 purl loops. That's all. Such a simple knitting pattern looks very original, the knitting is dense and holds its shape well.
