Crepe paper flowers: tulips and crocuses

Any crepe paper flowers are unusual and delicate. It is better to start with tulips or crocuses, the buds of which are similar to each other, and then move on to more complex creations. Crepe paper is unique in that it stretches and can be shaped into any shape.

Crepe paper crocuses

For the crocuses, cut into six rectangular strips (10 cm long and 2 cm wide). Now take a strip, fold in half and twist once in the middle. Form a petal with your fingers, giving it a bulge. Bend the corners at the bottom. For the leaves, cut off long narrow rectangles. Sharpen one edge with scissors, leave the other.

Now make an interesting core. By the way, it can decorate any crepe paper flowers. From a wire 15 centimeters long, twist a loop from one end. Cut off a 3x5 cm orange rectangle. Use your fingers to stretch the top of the rectangle to the sides. Next, attach the wire to the rectangle, stretched up from the inside, spread with glue and bend a centimeter, covering the loop.

Now grease the entire rectangle with glue and carefully twist it into a tube along with the wire. Stretched up try not to touch. That is, you get a twisted orange leg with a triangular stamen. Then glue the petals in a checkerboard pattern to the resulting core, wrap the stem with green paper and glue the leaves.

Crepe paper tulips

For one flower, you need to take six 8-cm rectangles with a width of 3 centimeters. Lay them on top of each other and cut out an oval tulip petal. Also cut out tall wide rectangles from green paper (about 10 centimeters long and 5 cm wide). Overlay two rectangles on top of each other and form a wide sheet.

Now adjust the tulip petals. Take the petal in your hands and with your fingers begin to stretch it in opposite directions, creating a convex shape. You can use a tennis ball on which you pull the petal. Next, bend the leaves in the same way.

Now take the wires and make 6 stamens and one pestle from beads and glass beads. Or bend the wires from one edge by 5 mm, these will be stamens. Dip them in PVA glue and then in colored semolina. Leave to dry.

Now collect stamens on the wire, wrap them with petals. Wrap the stem with green paper, smearing it with glue in some places. Attach leaves. Get beautiful crepe paper flowers.

Opened tulip

First make the coretulip. To do this, cut out thin strips from green and yellow paper and twist them into tubes. At green stamens, twist paper with wire and bend one edge into a circle, like a butterfly's antennae. Lightly press the yellow stamens at one end into a ball. Next, collect all the stamens together with the wire and wrap them with green paper. This will be the stem.

Now make the petals. To do this, also cut out a wide tulip petal from a rectangle. With your hands, stretch the petal in width and twist the edges along the length inward to get a pointed corner. Also, from strips of yellow paper the length of a petal, roll the tubes together with a thin wire. Glue it to the middle of the petal. With it, crepe paper flowers will get the desired curve.

You make six of these petals and attach them to the stem, which you wrap with green paper. Also make wide long leaves. Bend the edges with your hands into tubes, forming a sharp corner. Glue a tube with wire to the middle and attach to the stem.

Double tulips

Crepe paper holds its shape very well. Cut out a wide rectangle and stretch it over the wide bottom of the mug. First, the petal is already taking a convex shape. And secondly, with the help of paints you can apply an unusual coloring.

By the way, if you place three rectangles on each side at the bottom of the mug, you can paint them all at once. Bending the petals with your fingers, you get a wide three-leaf petal. It will be a big tulip, somake the core wide.

Take a long rectangular strip (5-6cm wide), cut it into strips. And twist them to the cut. Then take the stem (skewer, stick, wire), wrap it with green paper and wrap the core on it. Glue the edge and fluff the stamens.
