The most touching spring flowers, without which it is difficult, for example, to imagine March 8, can not only be grown in a pot or bought in a flower shop, but also made by hand. It is not difficult to assemble beaded tulips, you just need to show a bit of perseverance and patience.
Preparing materials
Before you start creating a spring bouquet, you need to take care of the materials and tools.
So, in the process of work, wire cutters will come in handy to bite the wires. And also put scissors nearby - we will cut the strings or floral tape with them.
Floral ribbon we will need to decorate the stem of the plant. In principle, you can do without it. Instead of the mentioned material, a spool of green thread will do.
You will need a tube of glue (universal or PVA).
Since we are going to make tulips from beads, then, accordingly, we need these same beads. You need to buy even, identical beads. You can even get two colors. For example, red andorange. Or blue and white. Then the tips of the petals will be slightly different in tone, like real flowers. And for the leaves you need green "glasses". Be sure to get yellow beads and black glass beads. From them you will collect pistils with stamens.
And of course, you can't do without wire. You will need a coil of fine jewelry wire for weaving leaves and petals, as well as a stiffer base for the stem.
Create petals
We start weaving tulips from beads by creating petals. From a coil of thin wire, we separate two segments with wire cutters. One is 20 centimeters long and the other is 45. Twist them together.
On a short piece we will string 5 beads of a light shade and 6 darker ones. On the other (long) end of the wire we put on 4 light beads and 9 dark ones.
Now we carefully twist the long piece of wire through the short one, with strung beads. After that, we create a reverse row of 4 and 9 beads. Again, lightly cling to the base of the short wire. We repeat the operation several times. As a result, we should get six rows on both sides of the central segment. At the same time, do not forget to add the number of beads in each row. Only then will we get almost real beaded tulips. The weaving pattern using this technology involves the manufacture of three small inner petals and three outer ones.
For the outer petals we use dark beads. At the base you need to place 12 beads, on bothsides we collect 4 more rows, gradually increasing the number of beads.
Stamens and pistils
We have petals of future flowers on our hands. Now we will create the hearts that we will place in our beaded tulips.
The weaving pattern is very simple. For stamens, you need to cut 3 pieces of wire 20 centimeters each. We take a piece in our hands, string two long glass tubes and one bead on it. The bead is a topping; we pass the wire back through a row of glass beads. Making two more stamens.
Now it's the turn of the yellow pestle. For him, we will cut off a piece of 20 centimeters from the wire, string three beads on it, fitting them to the middle of the segment. Gently twist the ends of the wire and thread them through three glass beads.
Connect the stamens and pistil together. To the last in a circle we fasten the black antennae of the stamens.
Dealing with foliage
We already have elements of inflorescences. But beaded tulips also have leaves. Let's make at least one.
The technology is similar to the one we used to make the petals. You will need to cut two pieces of wire: a smaller one and a larger one. Then you need to twist them together. We collect green beads on the central rod. We will start from 4 centimeters. We finish the first rows neatly at the top of the main row. But the following should not reach the top. Cling the wire to the fourth or fifth bead from the top of the previous row. As a result, you will get teeth. Five rows must be strung on each side.
In the final, we put a bead on the central wire, we pass the wire through the main rod. The sheet is ready.
Collect flowers from beads
Tulips left to collect. Let's take our core. Three inner petals need to be screwed to it. In this case, the light part is located below, at the base of the flower. Position the outer petals so that they overlap the joints of the inner petals.
We straighten the rest of the wires, for rigidity we put a piece of a stiffer wire. It's the turn to use the floral ribbon or green thread. She needs to tightly wrap the stem. And somewhere in the middle of the stem, you will need to add a leaf. At the tip of the stem, fix the winding with glue so that it does not fray.
Embroidery flowers
If you prefer not volumetric weaving, but beadwork, tulips can be depicted on a piece of canvas.
For beginners, a good choice would be to buy a ready-made set. It has everything you need to work: colored beads, threads, canvas, needles, a frame for the finished picture. Sometimes these kits come with instructions showing exactly how the beadwork is made.
For experienced craftswomen, it will not be difficult to create your own sketch. And fill it with life. Beadwork is similar to cross stitching. You need to move in even rows, laying out a pattern from multi-colored beads. For a picture, take an even, identical in size andstructure of beads. Otherwise, the whole drawing will "lead".
Beaded tulips are collected in bunches. They create voluminous decorative panels. An interesting option is the creation of handmade jewelry. Tiny tulips can act as pendants, earrings. Their strict and graceful inflorescences can adorn loriats. These are long cords of beads. Their ends are not connected, as in necklaces, but are free. Loriats are gently tied around the neck, like ties or scarves. It is at the ends of such a decoration that spring tulips can bloom. Bracelets and massive hryvnias with flowers embroidered with small beads look very unusual and elegant.
