Step by step instructions on how to carve a swan out of tires

1. We make a small markup: a triangle, which is the future tail of the bird.

2. We cut out the inner rings from the tire and draw it with an electric jigsaw along the marked area.

3. At the level of the tip of the formed triangle, we make a small incision on the opposite side of the resulting rubber circle and bend the tire to form the back of a swan, then fasten its edges with bolts.

4. We fix a part of the wire to the received part. Next, we form the shape of the bird's neck from it. Tip: you should lower it a little lower than the body, so that later it is more reliable to attach the decoration to the ground.

5. Creation of wings. This is the most time-consuming process, but the result is spectacular. It is necessary to cut feathers from bottles in advance for our “garden inhabitant” (1 bottle - six feathers) and paint them white. Then carefully attach them with a wire to a metal grill. We need to make 1 row of feathers from the front of the wing and 2 more from the back.

6. Neck shaping. The hose from the vacuum cleaner is carefully put on the wire, fixed with self-tapping screws. Glue "Titanium" is applied to the top.

7. Creating a head. From a piece of foam, you need to form a bird's head, put it on a wire and glue a neck hose.

8. We paint the tire and hose white, the beak red, draw black eyes and a frame around the beak.

9. Final stage- attachment of wings. This can be done both with the help of self-tapping screws, and using a strong wire, pulling it tightly together.

This is how do-it-yourself tire swans are made. They will look much more original in a flower bed. Optionally, you can add additional decorations. For example, pour pebbles around the bird in the form of a lake. Paint them in the appropriate color, add other vegetation. Knowing how to carve a swan out of tires, you can create a second bird that will look even more beautiful.

Add more decorations to your garden to enhance its beauty! After all, a swan is far from everything that is made from an old unnecessary tire. You can make a variety of crafts from tires. The photos below show some of their varieties.
