Such a concept as origami was known to people many centuries ago. This is an ancient art that teaches how to create all sorts of interesting figures using paper. In the modern world, this activity has changed a little and today it has more diverse types and methods of folding paper.
A superbly made of paper origami dragon can become a talisman for the coming year, the symbol of which is just the sign of the same name. Such a gift can be given as a symbolic one, because according to Chinese mythology, a dragon is a good start.
Let's try to figure out how to make an origami dragon yourself.
Step-by-step manufacturing instructions:
Buy a set of colored paper at a regular stationery store. Now on sale there are special kits for making origami. They include special rice paper. If you manage to get such a set, then the creative process will be a little easier.
- Decide what color your origami dragon will be, based on this, choose the color of the paper. We takesheet and cut a square out of it. Draw a rhombus on the wrong side with a simple pencil. Do this from each middle of the sides of the square.
- Fold the corners to match the lines of the diamond. This must be done on the wrong side. Your corners must meet strictly in the center of the square.
- Turn over the design that you have turned out, and, taking the pencil again, draw only two lines from two opposite corners to the point, it should be two or three centimeters below the common adjacent corner. Starting from the intersection of the two lines, draw a segment to the end of the corner. Bend the edges towards you along the same lines drawn.
- From this angle bend the small beak. Your origami dragon will decorate this makeshift beak.
- Now draw a diagonal strip with a pencil, which will be located between opposite corners. Then we mark two more lines coming out of the center of the resulting square. Bend these corners and make sure that they converge in the very center, then bend the resulting figure diagonally.
- Bend the formed corners in the opposite direction.
- Now fold up and try to simultaneously pull out part of the paper, the one that remains free. Bend the ears that have formed behind and in front of your future origami - the dragon is almost already assembled.
-
Flip back your wings now.
- Now you should get a rhombus with a cut one side. Now draw the lines, they will go fromincision sites to nearest obtuse angles.
- Bend the bifurcated parts inward. Should be a bird. Make a beak on the double end, it will be part of the head.
- The resulting sharp protrusion, located on the wings, bend inward, and the wings, respectively, up. Now the origami dragon needs to decorate the paws, and they need to be made from the remaining lower bifurcations.
- To add beauty to the figure, make bends on the tail and wings.
- Your origami dragon is ready! If you have already collected paper figures before, then you will spend about 50 minutes on this model. If this is your first work, then the production will take you a little longer.
