When it comes to sewing, first of all, of course, it is necessary to prepare not only sewing accessories, but also equipment: a machine and, if possible, an overlocker. Many novice craftswomen sometimes forget about the necessaryneedle and fabric misalignment, resulting in undesirable results such as pulled seams, gaps or holes in the material. Why are we talking about a sewing machine? Because without it, it is possible to sew a buffoon costume with your own hands, but it will take much more time. In addition, it is unlikely that it will be possible to make all the seams perfectly even by hand.

Also, for work, you should prepare a construction film or tracing paper for developing patterns, a measuring tape and a permanent marker or a simple ballpoint pen for working on polyethylene.

How to make patterns?

To sew a buffoon costume with your own hands, you immediately need to draw clothing patterns: pants and a shirt. There are two options for cutting: by clothes and by the standards. Both methods are not very difficult to perform, but you will have to try.

Clothing pattern

How to make an interesting buffoon costume with your own hands? Patterns are half the battle, the main thing is to choose the right material that will set the mood for the whole outfit. For this purpose, a fabric with a sheen, such as satin, supplex or velor, is great. The last two should not cause problems at all, since the cuts can be left untreated, and the ability of the fabric to stretch will hide possible cut flaws.

What color should the buffoon suit be? An adult and a child can easily answer this question, because everyone knows that the outfit of this hero must have many bright colors. Yellow, red, green, orange, blue and pink - all these colors can be combined in this outfit with each other.
