The most favorite holidays of most people on our planet are Christmas and New Year. Preparations for these solemn days begin a month in advance. They think over the festive menu, buy smart clothes and, of course, decorate their home. Today we will talk about decorations that are easy to make with your own hands. The Christmas angel is a symbol and herald of the holiday, and today we will make his figure in various ways.
Self-hardening clay toy
Not everyone has the opportunity to make a Christmas angel out of ceramics. Therefore, ordinary clay can be replaced with self-hardening, plastic or s alt dough. Figurines of angels made of such materials can decorate a Christmas tree, a refrigerator, and will also become pleasant presents for relatives. How to make a cute toy?
Christmas angel: a master class on making. First we need to roll out ourmaterial. But do not be too zealous in this lesson, the thickness of our clay should be at least half a centimeter. Now cut out the details. The head and halo are 2 circles, the body is shaped like a bell, the wings are an oval with a zigzag on one side, and don't forget to make a heart.
When all the blanks are cut out, glue them with water. And while our angel is not dry, we wash the pattern in it, but we will paint it after drying. We put our figurine in a secluded place and leave it for 24 hours. After this time, we take out the angel and paint over some details. As paints, we use special pigments for ceramics or ordinary gouache, which was previously mixed with PVA.
Angel made of ice cream sticks
Sometimes very unusual things can become material for creativity, for example, ice cream sticks. How to assemble a Christmas angel from them? To make a figurine, we need 4 large and two small sticks, as well as plasticine.
Pre-paint 3 large blanks white, and break the small ones into two parts. We paint over the tip of a small stick for ¼ part with body paint, and the rest with white. Cut out a star from one large stick. It is convenient to do this with a clerical knife. We paint it in gold. Also, with a brilliant color, draw semicircles on two sticks that have already been in body paint.
From plasticine we sculpt the head of an angel and wings. If desired, a halo can be made from tinsel. It remains to collect all the parts. Let's start with the body. Glue white sticksbetween themselves. Then glue the arms, legs and star. Then we attach the head and wings. Our figure is ready. You can attach a bead and a rope to it.
Rag angel
Even a child can make such a figurine. How to make a Christmas angel out of fabric? We will start by making the body and head. We take a small square of canvas and a small piece of padding polyester. We put the stuffing on the fabric and fold the canvas so that the synthetic winterizer is in its center. We give this stuffed area the shape of a circle and tie it with a thread. The body and head of the angel are ready.
To make hands, we need to cut out two small circles. In turn, we sew each of them with a seam forward with a needle, stuff it with padding polyester, tighten it and sew it to the body. Wings will be made from a rectangular piece of fabric. Just pull it with a thread in the middle to make a bow, and sew it to the angel's back.
It remains to add details to the toy. Cut out a small red heart and glue it on a makeshift shirt. From the straw we make a small ring that will serve as a halo.
Paper napkin angel
Even kids can make this simple figurine. To make a Christmas paper angel, we need a beautiful napkin. Or rather, half of it. We make a "fan" out of it. Lay out a paper napkin with a cut to the right. And we begin to bend it. 1 cm turned away, turned the napkin over and bent 1 cm. We fold all our paper with such an accordioncanvas.
Then, when this process is completed, turn the napkin so that its cut looks up. We slightly bend the upper parts, you can even cut them so that they do not tend to return to the “body”. We glue a large bead to the center, and a small bow under it. You can weave a halo for an angel from beads. To hang the figurine on the Christmas tree, glue a golden thread to the top of the head.
Angel from a cone
You can make many funny figures from natural materials, for example, a Christmas angel. To make a figurine, we need a cone, white or gold paint, ribbon, moss or thread, a large wooden bead and braid.
Let's start the creative process. We paint the bump in white or gold paint. It is possible to give color not to the entire body of the future angel, but only to his “outer clothing”. Glue a large bead to the tail of the cone. How to understand where the tail was? Relatively speaking, this is the place where she was attached to the Christmas tree.
We glue moss or threads to a wooden bead, thereby creating a curly hairstyle. From the braid we form a halo. We draw the eyes of the angel. It looks very nice when they are closed. It seems that the angel is sleeping. It remains to make wings for our figure. To do this, we tie a bow from the ribbon. Glue it to the back. Our figure is ready.
Paper angel
One of the most popular types of toys for decorating a house or apartment are handmade figurines. And what is the easiest way to make an angel? Of course, from paper.
The pattern of the Christmas angel is shown above, it is on it that we will make our toy. To make it, you need to redraw or print the above outline. Choose one of the two options, the one you like best. It is necessary to cut at least 4 patterns, and preferably 6-8.
When the paper angels are ready, it remains to glue them. We bend the figures in the center, and glue them to each other. The more patterns you had, the more voluminous the angel will turn out.
