Homemade toys have always been valued above factory ones. After all, they kept the warmth of the hands of the craftswoman. Such a thing is easy to distinguish from the factory, as all these small details, from tiny buttons and satin ribbons to natural flavors, clearly betray the whole truth.

To become the owner of a wonderful animal, we need to create patterns of a sheep, lamb or any other creature that you like. To do this, take mock-up or regular office paper and a sharp pencil. draw the details,of which the lamb pattern will consist. We got five blanks, which we will later use when cutting:

• Oval-shaped head, which we will also cut out of felt.

• Felt. In this case, it is the main component of the lamb, which is very convenient to use. It can be sewn, glued, folded and cut into absolutely any fancy patterns. In addition, the colors of the fabric are very bright and rich. Therefore, the toy will turn out very beautiful.
• Filler. Sintepuh, sintepon or straw - whatever you want.
• Sewing tools.
• Patterns of a sheep, lamb or any other creature, which we pre-cut in the required quantity. The main thing is to cut everything neatly.

Felt lamb: pattern, construction and sewing

It's time for the best part: sewing toys from pre-prepared parts. This whole process will not take you more than an hour, and the result will be a soft sheep.

1. We connect the parts of the body with sewing pins and carefully sew on the sewing machine, leaving a small hole. With it, we turn the toy inside out, correcting all the seams and folds. Now you need to fill the workpiece with padding polyester, carefully distributing the stuffing inside the part. The amount of filler is up to you. But keep in mind that the seams should not be visible due to tension. Manually sew the hole, hiding the threads in the layers of fabric.
2. Sew on the face of the lamb from black felt. We do all this manually with a regular seam. Since the color of the thread and fabric are the same, you should not worry about external aesthetics. If you are still afraid to spoil the toy, then just glue the part on the body with good glue. Also, keep an eye on the formation of wrinkles, which must be straightened in a timely manner.
3. We sew together two pairs of legs and ears from black felt and lightly fill them, after turning them outward. We sew on the right places, keeping the symmetry of the toy.
4. The lamb pattern also contains a pattern for the eyes, which can be cut from dark felt or use purchased beads or buttons. Add a ribbon bow to the imaginary neck of the animal, embroider the nose with pink floss threads.
