Western witch costume also requires a pointed hat, which can be made from cardboard. The headdress consists of two parts - fieldsand cap. The fields are made in two copies from a circle, in the center of which a hole is cut to fit the size of the head. For the cap, a circle sector is taken, which is folded into a cone. After the cap is glued, it is connected to one of the details of the fields (dark side up). The parts of the cone protruding from below are cut, smeared with glue from the outside and turned up on the field. The second part of the hat field is glued from below with the dark side down.

Do-it-yourself witch costume is made for a certain holiday. Therefore, the hat needs to be decorated with orange pumpkins or skulls cut out of paper. Quite often, strands of black (green, purple) thick threads are glued to the inside, which imitate the hair of evil spirits. The image is complemented by a frightening make-up, "magic" wands, panicles. Sometimes a toy owl or crow is placed on the shoulder, which can be bought at the Halloween accessories store.

According to Eastern tradition, the image of a witch is usually interpreted somewhat differently. Here it is believed that this word has the root “because”, which comes from the Sanskrit word “Veda” - sacred knowledge. Therefore, the dark heroine in the Russian sense is an elderly woman, for example Baba Yaga.

Practically no one will probably have a question about how to make a witch costume in this case. Any old things will do: sweaters, skirts, aprons, large shawls. The image is complemented by a gray wig bought in a store or made by yourself. To do this, cut gray or white threads of the required length and tie onthe top of the head into a knot, then the “wig” is superimposed with a knot on the top of the head, the “strands” are straightened on the sides of the face.
