In order to make gerberas, you will need the following "ingredients":

• corrugated paper in several colors (green, red, purple, pink, etc.);
• wire;
• scissors;
• glue.

First cut the paper into strips. You can fold it several times to make your work easier. Then we cut a "fringe" from one edge of the strip. We twist the paper, forming the middle of our gerbera. It is advisable to choose paper that is more delicate and light in color for the core of the flower, and brighter and more saturated for the petals. This will give you more realism. Now take paper of a different color and cut off a strip from it. We also make a frequent "fence" from one of its edges. We apply the strip to the core of the flower so that its lower edge is approximately in the center of the bud. We wind the part, forming beautiful petals. That's all, a do-it-yourself crepe paper flower is almost done! It remains only to complete the wire winding of the bud and form the stem. Now you need to decorate it with green corrugated paper and, if desired, cut out leaves from it. Use the same principle to make a few more gerberas and create a lush bright bouquet.

Now let's try to create another beautiful flower - a pink rose. To make it, you will need to prepare the following materials:

• wooden skewers (for kebabs);
• threads;
• pink crepe paper for flowers;
• green floral ribbon;
• foil candies.

Our rose will be not only beautiful, but also delicious -we will make its core from candy. You can present such a flower to a loved one or friend for any celebration. To create crafts, we take and fold the paper in several layers. Using scissors, cut out a petal shape from it. The workpiece should be pointed at the bottom and more rounded at the top. Lay out the paper - you should get a "fence" of petals. Now we cut out a number of individual petals from corrugated paper. After that, using a pencil or a knitting needle, we twist the edges of the petals, giving them a waviness. Now we move on to assembling the parts into a single structure: we take a candy, wrap it in a strip of corrugated paper. We fix the core with glue on a barbecue skewer. We wrap a continuous "fence" of petals around the candy, fix the ends with a thread. Well, now let's add splendor to our rose bud using separate petals. Don't forget to secure them with thread. After all the petals are attached to the bud, we decorate the cup and stem with green ribbon. Your DIY crepe paper flower is made!
