Beautiful applications from the palms

Now hand drawings and applications are becoming more and more popular. The guys are delighted with the fact that they can make beautiful handicrafts from the prints of their hands. However, if you use paints, the children will get dirty themselves and everything around will become colored, so it is better to choose another option when you need to trace the outline of the palm on colored paper with a pencil and collect decor from the cut-out blanks.

Materials and tools

To make beautiful applications from the palms, you will need the following:

• colored paper of any quality and texture (usual for children's creativity, corrugated, even napkins will do);
• pencil;
• scissors;
• glue;
• template;
• application base (paper or colored cardboard).

Such crafts are easy to make not only at home, but also in an organized group, for example, in a kindergarten.

Technology of work

To make different applications from children's hands, it is better to find samples of the image you want to make. The craft is done like this:

1. Circle your palms on sheets of colored paper. If the paper is thin, then you can circle it once, and fold the sheet intomultiple layers.
2. Cut out the blanks in the right amount.



3. Take a cardboard base and draw on it the outline of the object that you will perform (flower, sun, etc.), or print your favorite picture. It is easy to complement it with a relief of palms.
4. Apply glue to the palms and apply in layers according to the shape of the drawn contour. The palms can be glued, completely covering the surface of the workpiece with glue, or only part of them (fingers are left free).

Using this technology, not only applications from palms in the form of a panel are made, but also decor that can be transferred and picked up. To do this, it is enough to stick the palms not on a sheet of cardboard, but overlapping one another. It is easy to use a rod, a stick, a tape as a frame element.

Applique "Colored hands"

Very bright solutions are easy to make using paper of different shades. Each child can cut blanks from sheets of the same color or from several at once. Ideas with colored palms are different. It is enough to lay out a panel from the blanks, placing the palms on a white background, or use them as flowers in a clearing. The original version is to make an unusual decoration in the form of a cheerful sun.

To make this craft, work like this:

1. Take a disposable plate (plastic or paper) and paint it yellow.
2. Draw orglue colored paper eyes, smile, nose.
3. Take yellow and orange paper and circle your palms on it, 5 pieces on each sheet.
4. Cut out blanks.
5. Apply glue to the inner contour of the plate and glue the palms, evenly distributing them around the circumference.

It is good to attach a pendant loop to such a craft by gluing it on the back side or by making a hole in the material of the plate.

Applique "Tree of palms"

This work option is perfect for collective children's creativity. The tree can be made from both green paper and colored sheets. The second way is a good idea for an autumn craft. A simple tree is easy to make using a popsicle stick, on which palms are glued in layers (as in the photo above). Usually such a craft is performed in the form of a panel. Work goes like this:

1. Take a large sheet, such as drawing paper or cardboard. Draw a tree trunk and twigs in the center. Color the blank with brown gouache, felt-tip pens.
2. Give the children colorful paper in yellow, orange, red (for autumn crafts).
3. Explain how to trace your palms. Have the children draw one or more blanks (depending on the size of the tree and the number of children doing the work).
4. Cut out the palms.
5. Glue the pieces to the appropriate places on the painted tree frame.

If the work is done at home, such a tree can be made inas a family craft, gluing the palms of all households: both children and adults. On a craft made collectively in a group, each palm often signs (child's name). Schoolchildren will be able to write wishes on each palm when performing. So, a beautiful panel will turn into a greeting card.

As you can see, handmade appliqués are very easy to make, and made panels or other decor look very beautiful.
