Which crown shape is the "correct" one?

Start by taking measurements. You need to know the exact volume of the head of a little princess or prince. Cut out a sufficiently wide strip of paper, the length of which is equal to the value obtained during the measurement. Making a crown is quite simple - you only need to give the paper ribbon the correct shape from the top edge. The easiest option is to cut the same teeth. But a paper crown template can look even more interesting. Try to make the protruding elements semicircular or even curly. You can also cut out the crown, consisting of several large teeth in the central part in front. The workpiece must be fastened into a ring, use a stapler for this or just glue the ends.

Small royal headdresses look interesting and tender. A small decorative crown can simply be cut out of paper or cardboard and attached to a hairpin, headband or paper band that is fixed around the head. To make such a craft, draw or print a template and cut it out of the selected material. A do-it-yourself crown made of paper can also be made using the appliqué technique. Glue several layers of paper in different colors and/or textures and cut out the desired shape.

Kokoshnik - the headdress of Russian beauties

As an addition to Russian folk costumes, the image of a princess or a Snow Maiden, it would be appropriate to make not an ordinary crown, but a kokoshnik. The shape of such an accessory can be the usual semicircular or with a protruding center and symmetrical rounded edges. An interesting idea is to make a triangular kokoshnik. We cut out such a headdress from paper or cardboard, attach ties or an elastic band to its edges, and then decorate it to our liking. Useful advice: since the kokoshnik is quite large, it is best to cut it out of thick paper or cardboard.

Now you know how to make a paper crown using several different techniques. But, most likely, your workpiece will not look festive and luxurious enough. Readythe crown must be decorated. Unusual "precious" pebbles will turn out if you cut a CD with a mirror surface into small elements. Try also finely chop the rain and stick it to the base. Don't be afraid to experiment. The best part is that the cost of this craft is such that, if desired, new crowns can be made at least every day.
