This is within the power of even those girls who are far from needlework. To make a pillow with a dog applique, you will need a sewing machine, fabric scraps and an hour of free time.

Let's get started. A dog pillow will be quite utilitarian, so you need to sew a pillowcase first. To do this, cut out two square blanks. We sew them together on three sides, face inward. So that later you can wash the pillowcase, we sew a lock into the unsewn side. Now let's get to theinteresting part of the job. We need to make the face of the dog. To do this, you can buy felt or use scraps of fabric available on the farm. From white material we cut out eyes, from black pupils, nose and ears. By the way, they can be made different. It remains to cut a beige oval and a red semicircle. Now sew all the details to the pillowcase with a hidden seam. We embroider a muzzle with thick black threads. And the final touch - sew on the ears.

If a girl does not like to sew, but knows how to use knitting needles well, then she can easily make a dog pillow with her own hands from yarn. To do this, you need to knit a pillowcase. There is nothing complicated here. We knit two circles with an ordinary rubber band. This is the base of our dog pillow. Two teardrop-shaped parts of a different color will be the ears. We knit a small circle from a dark brown color - this will be the nose. From white threads we make a pug. We knit two large circles, and at the same time you can make two more small circles of the same color. These will be the eyes. The mouth and pupils can be cut out of felt, or can also be made on knitting needles. It remains to collect our pillow together. We sew the base together, turn it inside out and stuff it with padding polyester. With a "forward needle" seam, we collect two circles of the muzzle and one circle of the nose. You should get balls. We stuff them with padding polyester, not very tight, so that the pillow can be used not only as a decor, but also for its intended purpose. Sew stuffed balls to the base and add ears, eyes and mouth.
