Everyone can make decorations from apples with their own hands. Such a dense fruit with a bright peel is simply made for a variety of works of art. The pulp of apples is light and looks favorably against the background of a contrasting skin. So that it does not darken, the craftsmen wipe the surface of the cuts with lemon juice.

Apple decorations can be put on a dish and put on a festive table for children. Often parents are faced with the problem of unwillingness of kids to eat fruits and vegetables. However, no child will refuse to taste a beautifully presented figurine of a bear or a bunny, a turtle or a swan.

Funny faces carved with a sharp knife can cheer up even a crying baby. Many do not dare to make apple decorations on their own, considering it an impossible task, however, after reading our article, you will understand that it is not difficult at all.

Simple turtle

To work on the creation of a turtle figure, prepare a sharp knife, one green apple, a grape of the same color,pieces of chocolate for the eyes and a toothpick for attaching the head to the body. If the craft is not immediately served on the table, then you will need a lemon to treat the surface of the slices, otherwise they will darken.

Apple wash well and dry with a towel. On one side of the head, cut off a circle (about 1/3 of the fruit), which will act as a tortoise shell. In the widest part of the apple, cut off a plate with a sharp knife, put it on a plank and get rid of the central part with seeds.

The resulting 2 semicircles must be divided in half. These will be the paws of the animal. They need to be placed on a plate at some distance from each other and cover the workpiece with a “shell”. Further work is done on the head. Choose a large oval green grape and cut off the end where the twig is located. Use a toothpick to poke holes in 2 holes at the location of the eyes and insert small pieces of dark chocolate into them. The head is attached to the body with a toothpick. Everything, the apple decoration is ready, you can serve it!

Crab

Effectively looks handicraft in the form of a crab, carved from red apples. The figure consists of several parts: these are large front claws, a crab's body and many hind legs. We start manufacturing by cutting thin plates. To do this, cut out circles closer to the head of cabbage so that the details are large. Then cut out the part where the seeds are located, and lay out 5 semicircles one on top of the other as shown in the photo below.

For the front claws, prepare two thick apple slices and cut two sharp corners on the pulp with a sharp knife. It remains to cut off a third of the fruit to make a "shell", and lay this part on top of the prepared parts. Eyes are made in the manner described above, so we will not repeat ourselves.

Apple decoration "Swan"

Figurines of this beautiful bird are often used by craftsmen in their crafts, they did not ignore the fruit of the apple tree. In order for the figure to lie flat on the dish, a large piece is cut off, not reaching a little to the head of cabbage. The tail can be left in place or cut off with tongs. The visually obtained part must be divided into a narrow strip for installing the head and identical parts for cutting the corners of the wings. In order for the cuts to be beautiful and smooth, the knife must be sharpened well.

Depending on the size of the fruit, cut from 3 to 5 corners, then they need to be slightly moved towards the tail. From the cut off part of the apple, a head with a pointed beak and a tail part are cut out, which is interesting to decorate with carvings.

On the central part of the swan, make an oblong hole with a knife and insert the neck with the head, make room for the tail at the back. Fasten all elements with toothpicks so that the figure does not fall apart when carried.

Funny faces

Funny apple decorations, the photos of which can be seen below, are made either with a special carving knife, or on the peel they draw the details of the future image with the tip of a toothpick, and then carefully cut along the contours with a sharp kitchenknife.

Such crafts can be done together with the child, giving him the opportunity to dream up. Be sure to treat the slices with lemon juice, otherwise the appearance of the funny figure will quickly fade.

Owl made of fruits and vegetables

To work on an owl, prepare red and yellow apples, two large radishes, two olives, a triangular carving knife and a small, even, sharp kitchen knife. To connect the elements, as usual, use toothpicks. If the apples are large, then the central part of the body can be pierced with a wooden skewer.

First of all, make out the eyes of an owl. It is better to use the template by drawing even circles in the selected places. Then, with a sharp corner of the carving knife, cuts are made to the center. Try to press on it with the same force. Insert pieces of olives into the center, attach with toothpicks.

On the front of the red apple draw the corners of the "feathers". Divide the radish in half and cut one edge with corners. These are the claws of a bird of prey. It remains to connect the whole craft together and attach a beak bent by a hook.
