To make such clothes, you will need one and a half meters of dense fabric. You can choose a tight jersey, or you can take a fleece - this is a lighter material that will suit you if you want to sew a spring-summer poncho for women.

You will also need a leather clasp, inside of which there is a buckle, forty round rivets, tailor's scissors, a bar of soap, glue. Prepare two measurements in advance - this is the length of the product and the length from the neck to the wrist.

Sewing process

We fold our piece of fabric in half, so that we get a rectangle or square, and cut out a semicircle from it, based on the measurements taken. In the middle of the center, we cut out a semicircle, this will be the neck. If you want to know the exact size of the neck, then attach your T-shirt to the fabric, and with its help you can determine exactly what you need. This pattern of a poncho with a hood is also suitable for those who have not sewed anything at all in their lives.

Poncho Patterns

In order to create such a comfortable and practical thing with knitting needles, you will need to master certain types of patterns.

You create the Rosehip pattern on the knitting needles, and it will decorate any product very much. And goes well with a poncho too. In order to knit it, you will need to master the following sequence of knitting loops: in the front row, we first knit three loops together with the wrong one, then we knit three from one loop - one wrong side, one front, and again one wrong side. This is how a poncho coat is obtained, the pattern of which for a knitted item is very simple.

In the purl rows we knit according to the following pattern: three purl loops, one front loop, repeat.

When knitting a poncho, you will combine the "Wicker" pattern with the rosehip pattern. Such a pattern is made simply: in the first row you remove the edge, then we knit one front, we make a crochet, then the front loop and the yarn are pulled through the loop that was removed. In the second and other even rows, the loops and yarns are purl.

When you knitted a poncho with these patterns, now youneed to assemble. The fabric that you knitted, you need to connect along the edges to a height of forty-five centimeters, and tie the resulting neckline with crochet stitches without a crochet. At the bottom of the poncho, you can add 25 cm long fringe tassels.

Crochet Poncho

Those who like crochet can also create a beautiful and practical thing for the street. If you want this thing to keep you warm in cold weather, then you need to take a yarn that consists of angora and acrylic, or a yarn with an admixture of mohair. The hooded poncho pattern will come in handy in this case, as you will be able to coordinate your knitting according to it.

Crochet ponchos begin to knit from the neck, in this case, you need to crochet 83 air loops and close into a ring. Then double crochets are knitted from above, which are connected to each other with air loops.

Poncho, the patterns of which should take into account cuts for the hands, is easy to crochet. So, already in the first row you should know where you will have cuts for the arms.

From the fifth row, crochet in turning rows, until about 12 centimeters long. From this length, it is necessary to gradually increase along the line of the middle of the front and along the sleeves. As you can see, the poncho, the patterns of which we are interested in, is easy to perform.

When you have knitted to the length of the sleeve, then you need to start making reductions for the sleeves. Decorate the sleeves with cuffs that can be tied with an elastic band two by two. Tie the edges of the poncho with two rows of double crochets. Pass along the edge of the necklace.

Openwork poncho

A crochet openwork poncho will come in handy for spring and summer, when you no longer need to warm up so carefully. To knit such a thing, you will need Yarn Art Summer, 600 grams, which consists of 60 percent cotton, forty percent polyamide.

This poncho coat is pre-cut on paper and is knitted using a simple pattern. You crochet 67 air loops, plus three lifting loops, and knit in the following sequence: one air loop - four columns with a crochet, knitted in one loop of the base, so repeat until the end of the row. After thirty-six centimeters from the start of work, you dial a chain of 36 air loops on each side, and include them in the rest of the knitting. After 56 centimeters from the typesetting edge, the work must be completed by marking the middle of the front with colored thread.

Then we knit shelves. For the left shelf, we collect 34 loops plus five lifting loops, and we knit with this pattern to a height of thirty-six centimeters, and there on the right, dial 36 air loops for the sleeve, as on the back. Then we knit the right shelf in the same way.

We connect the shelves and the back along the edges with a kettelny seam with a needle with a wide end. We sew a fringe along the edges of the product. On the edge of the left shelf we sew a small button, and on the right shelf we make a loop for it.
