Often, thanks to such a detail, the thing becomes longer, more spacious, which allows you to hide minor figure flaws. There are certain rules for the location of the coquette in a particular product, but often modern designers and dressmakers neglect them in order to create a certain effect or visually hide figure flaws.

Yoke is the upper part of any product, above which there can be neither a belt nor a neck. If it is sewn to a blouse, blouse or sweater, then it must certainly be located between the shoulders. In this case, the model of the product will have an open neck and part of the neckline. In knitted sweaters, a round yoke most often appears, since it is easy to make this element of decor with knitting needles, and even more so with a crochet. If the thing is sewn from ordinary fabric, then such a part can be given any shape - both rounded and with straight, strict cut lines.

In products that are worn on the lower body, the yoke is the part located between the waist and hips. Often, to adjust the figure, this rule is neglected. For example, if a person is not tall, the coquette line is slightly overstated, which visually makes his legs slimmer and longer. If the growth is too high, then the width of the coquette increases, which allows you to visually reduce the parameters. And in order to visually make the figure more slender, to hide extra pounds, this piece of clothing is built according to an oblique pattern. Such a yoke pattern can have an asymmetric structure, or it can be sewn on with the expectation of a shirring.

The coquette is no exception, the variations of which are simply inexhaustible. In addition to the fact that the classic location of this part can be changed, you can also experiment with its structure. It often happens that the yoke is just an insert that is sewn in front of the product. In this case, the back is sewn according to a standard pattern. The fourth part of this decorative element looks even more original. Only one of the front shelves can be sewn with an additional insert, decorating it with embroidery or beads. The second shelf at the same time has an ordinary appearance, but the product as a whole acquires unique and very interesting features.

Finally, it is worth noting that when building a coquette, it is necessary to strictly take into accountparameters of the person who will wear the product. If the line of this element coincides with the place where the tucks are sewn (which happens most often), then they should be “tacked” on the yoke itself.
