How to make a butterfly
In order to make kanzashi butterflies, you will need: satin ribbon - 80 cm, hot melt adhesive, thread, needle, scissors, soldering iron or lighter, beads,fishing line, tweezers and base (rubber bands or metal clips). This decoration is usually no more - 6-7 cm in diameter, but if desired, it can be made larger or smaller. To begin with, it is worth cutting the tape into squares - there should be 16 of them. For a pair of butterflies, you need to make 4 double round and sharp petals. It is advisable to do the latter with a hole - so they will look much more interesting. Round petals will be the back, and sharp petals will be the front wings. So the kanzashi butterfly will turn out like a real one. When all the blanks are made, they must be assembled on a thread. To do this, 4 petals are strung on it and pulled together by it. On the metal clip, be sure to stick a narrow satin ribbon, wrapping its tip. This is done so that the kanzashi butterfly does not fly off the metal during wear. Having glued the collected petals to the clip, you need to start making the body. To do this, fold the fishing line in half and put a few beads on it, be sure to drop a drop of glue on the bent end and fix the extreme element on it. The protruding tips will be antennae: a small bead must be glued to the end of each, after which, with a glue gun, apply the composition to the center of the butterfly and press the entire structure. Although jewelry is glued with hot glue, they still need to be worn very carefully, since any thing can quickly become unsightly if it is carelessly treated.
