Beading trees with your own hands

Beading flowers and trees with your own hands at first glance seems difficult. It is not surprising, because these products look so complex, beautiful, lush. It seems that weaving such a tree is a laborious process: each leaf, each branch must be assembled from small beads onto a thin wire. Yes, it will take a lot of time to weave a tree, but it is not as difficult as it seems. We are happy to share with you simple master classes for beginners.

Willow

A beaded tree on a window, table or shelf diversifies your interior and will delight with its brightness. Let's start our introduction to tree beading for beginners with willow weaving. This is the simplest, but very beautiful tree.

For weaving a sprawling, lush weeping willow we need:

  • light green beads;
  • thinwire with a diameter of 0.2 mm for weaving twigs;
  • thick wire 1.5-2 mm for forming large branches and trunk;
  • thread for sewing, iris or floss, gray-brown for winding wire;
  • a pot in which we will plant a willow, and filler, such as small pebbles, as well as plasticine.

Twig weaving

The process of creating branches is very simple. We measure a piece of thin wire 70 cm long, collect 14 green beads and place in the center. Next, from the beads strung on a wire, we make a loop and twist in 5-6 turns. The resulting loop will be a leaf.

Next, we need to create more leaves from the remaining wire. At one end of the wire, let's take the other aside for the time being, we need to collect 14 more beads and place them 1.5 cm from the finished leaf. Fold the beads into a loop again, thereby forming another leaf. After 5-6 turns, your end of the wire will return to the middle. Repeat the same action with the second end.

Did you succeed? Amazing! After connecting the two ends together, make 5-6 turns, separate the wire again and form leaves.

Thus, you need to create 15 leaves. 7 on each side and 1 on top.

Formation of a branch

After the twig is woven, it needs to be shaped. Pull out the leaves, make them oblong, like a willow, and then direct the leaves up to the central leaf, giving the shape of an ear. The leaves should fit snugly together.

Suchbranches need 48 pieces. The process is monotonous and tiring, so feel free to turn on your favorite series and weave the branches of the future willow from beads together with your favorite characters.

When the branches are woven, you can start assembling the tree. Take 4 branches and twist them together, forming a sprawling branch. Don't pile everything up and twist it, but add detail to detail gradually to get a beautiful, lush branch. Thus, you should get 12 branches.

Assembling the tree

Now take a thick wire and wrap it around a long twig. Immediately wrap each branch with a thin layer of thread, but so that the wire is not too visible.

Take three branches and weave them together in the same way as we did in the previous step, placing them at different levels. To connect the branches, use pieces of wire and mask them with thread.

From 12 thin branches we got 4 lush, sprawling branches, which we put together and wrap tightly with a piece of wire, which we mask with a gray-brown thread.

The next step involves planting a tree in a pot. At the bottom of the pot we place something heavy, such as a handful of coins or a stone. This will help the structure to stand, as it is very light in itself. Exactly put the tree upstairs and fill the space with plasticine. This is necessary in order for the plant to stay in a pot, stand evenly in it. Plasticine needs to be disguised, for this we need small pebbles and beads.

Beauty is likereal

It remains only to straighten the branches, giving them the necessary shape, like a weeping willow, and find a place in the house where you can put the craft.

As you can see, beading a tree step by step is very simple and requires only time and perseverance. However, it's worth it, although the willow is just weaving, it looks very beautiful and complex.

We got acquainted with the simplest master class on beading trees, it's time to proceed to a more complex option.

Bead Bonsai

Japan is a country of incredible landscapes, and there they came up with the idea of recreating miniatures of wonderful trees. Bonsai in Japanese means "dwarf tree growing on a pallet or in a low pot." Once the cultivation of bonsai was the occupation of Japanese aristocrats, and now we can freely create our own lush green beaded tree.

Look how beautiful the beaded tree looks in the photo.

For this craft we need:

  • beads;
  • wire 0.35mm;
  • threads;
  • superglue;
  • alabaster;
  • colored stones and other decorative items.

Bonsai tree foliage

To start, to make your bonsai bright, mix a few close shades of beads so that the foliage of your craft looks like it shimmers. To create a leaf, measure 45 cm of wire and thread 8 beads with it. Twist the wire into a loop, making one turn, put 8 more beads on one of the ends and twist again. Thus,using two ends, make 8 loops. Make a bud from the loops by twisting them all.

Twigs

Bonsai in the usual way is a lush tree, so to create it you will need a lot of buds, with a total score of 150. Having made the right amount, let's start forming. 3 buds must be connected in one bundle, loosely pressing them together. Leave a couple of millimeters from the beginning of the bud. These are small branches. Of these, we need to form larger ones.

We combine three beams together, also stepping back the distance, but already a centimeter. Try to place one bunch above the other so that the tree looks more natural. After twisting them together, wrap the wire with thread, it will mask the irregularities of the wire and give a more presentable look to the tree.

Make the next branch from two bundles, twisting them with a 12 cm long wire. Also wrap with threads. Create bunches of different sizes, from 6, 7, 8 branches.

Finished branches must be connected into a tree. To do this, take a wire with a diameter of 3 mm and gradually, at different levels, attach the branches from the smallest to the largest. Wrap the entire trunk with thread and bend, giving the tree a natural shape.

Decor and stand

It remains to decorate the trunk and make a stand. Mix water with alabaster, pour it into a mold that will serve as a coaster, and set aside to dry. The tree trunk must also be covered with a mixture over the threads. To make the tree look as natural as possible, take a needle or a toothpick and make small grooves that will imitate the bark of a tree.

After drying, cover the barrel with acrylic paint and paint the stand. Using superglue or silicone glue, fix the tree to the stand and decorate with stones or additional figures. Stones will help balance the craft, so be careful with their placement.

Here is such a wonderful tree beading we can offer you. Bright bonsai can be a nice gift for someone. Small, neat, like a living tree will appeal to friends and family.
