To do applied art, you need, first of all, a desire. Some initial knowledge about the materials that you will have to deal with will not interfere. Further it is desirable to study the basic technologies. It's great if there is already a ready-made algorithm for the first experiment. Therefore, we will tell you further how you can mold a three-dimensional figure of a parrot from plasticine.
Creativity
The man decided to get creative. Suppose he chose a plastic material for his purpose. That is, one that, when pressed, takes the given form easily and saves it for a long time, without returning to its original form.
Stocking up materials, in the modern variety of goods offered, those who decided to mold a parrot from plasticine, like any researcher, will have to proceed by trial and, possibly, errors. But in the end, you can choose the right one for you.
Plasticine
This is a favorite craft material for children. It is possible to mold from plasticine both a parrot, and a cake, and a computer, and a real frame for a photo. Yes, whatever your heart desireswhatever!
Previously, plasticine was made from clay, to which animal fats and wax were added so that the mass did not dry out longer.
Now plasticine is made from technological materials such as high molecular weight polyethylene, rubbers and others, and painted in all possible colors.
Preparation for work
The impatient master may be tired of asking: “When, finally, can a parrot be molded from plasticine?” How to get started if the tools, materials and workplace are not ready? For work you will need:
- plasticine;
- stack;
- board;
- napkin.
Why plasticine parrot?
Perhaps because it is bright and colorful. In addition, not such a difficult nature - anyone can do it.
And maybe also because this bird is very popular. The parrot is not just a favorite pet of many citizens. He is also the famous hero of tales, anecdotes (and more serious literature), songs and, of course, movies!
One can recall the domestic series "Return of the Prodigal Parrot" and its main feathered hero - Kesha. But, perhaps, even more famous was the ten-episode cartoon “38 Parrots”, which received many awards all over the world, loved by children and adults. We blind one of his main characters.
Don't be horrified in advance! You don't have to sculpt 38 birds. Although, it is quite possible that someone will be carried away to such an extent. You can start with one.
Hurrah! Sculpt
Step 1. Let's fashion blanks for future parts of the parrot's body:
- The body is a cylinder of red plasticine, rounded at the top.
- A flat "apron" that will be the bird's tummy.
- Two green, flattened, but thicker than the tummy, pear-shaped blanks for wings.
- Brown flagella: 2 thicker and longer for legs, and 8 thinner and shorter for fingers (4 each).
- Black pyramid (future beak).
- A flat but thick enough orange horseshoe for a tuft.
- Two white lozenges for the eyes and two smaller black lozenges for the pupils.
Some parts need to be marked with a stack. It will need to cut out the details.
Step 2. Cut out a stack on blanks:
- on the yellow tummy we make a cutout, like a T-shirt;
- on the wings, according to the markup, we make 4 feather fingers;
- make a slit in the center of the beak;
- cut out feathers on an orange crest.
Step 3. Connect:
- toes with paws;
- pupils with eyes.
Step 4. We connect all the details in a single three-dimensional figure.
Parrot ready!
Only one should not hope that such a heavy figure will stand on such thin legs. The secret of sculptors and masters of three-dimensional plasticine animation is that such figures have a wire frame.
Why did all this happen
Well, now it’s clear how to mold a parrot from plasticine - the hero of a famous animated series.
Will this sculpture become a gift to a loved one, will it receive a diploma at a creative competition, or will it simply decorate the author's room? Or maybe the parrot will come to life in a new cartoon?
After all, today children's animation is actively developing throughout the country. And voluminous plasticine animation, when the figures are shot frame by frame in various phases of movement, is very popular among children.
Well, parrot, live. And learn to fly!
