The flower has 5 petals, each of which consists of 12 rows. All rows are knitted with facial loops, the yarn is knitted with a crossed loop so that no holes form. To begin with, 7 loops are typed on the knitting needles, including edge ones. The beginning of each front row is 2 loops and a crochet. After yarn over, knit 3 loops in the first front row, plus one loop in the subsequent ones, until the number of loops after the yarn is 8.

In the final petal of the purl row, bind off 6 loops, and on the remaining 5 (plus 2 edge) start the next petal. At the end of knitting, pull the middle of the flower onto a thread, decorate the center with a bead or bulk embroidery. Variations of this knitting pattern:

tie more of the same petals;
having connected 5 petals according to the description, gradually reduce the number of rows in the report: you get a voluminous flower, the lower petals of which are larger and the middle ones are smaller (the middle of such a flower must be laid in a spiral, and not just tightened).

Knitted rose

Rose is one of the most favorite colors to embody in knitting. There are a lot of ways to make it, below are two of them, the simplest.

Cast on 100-150 sts, knit 8-12 rowsstockinette stitch, remove the loops from the knitting needle on a thread with a needle and pull it off slightly.
Form a flower from the knitted ribbon, starting from the middle of the bud.
Grab the outer edge of the ribbon with a few stitches to fix the position of the "petals".

Cast on 10-15 sts and knit 8 rows in stockinette stitch, in the 9th row remove the edge loop, knit 3 together, pull the loop from the shortened loops through the edge loop - a total of 4 loops decreased.
Knit the row to the end, purl, and in the next front from the first loop on the knitting needle, knit 4 front loops.
Knit 8 more rows in stockinette stitch and cast off. It turned out one petal.
Without tearing off the thread, dial 10-15 more loops and tie the next petal.

The more petals you make, the bigger the bud will be.

Knitted chrysanthemums

The easiest knitted flowers for beginners are chrysanthemums. Cast on 20-25 stitches on the needles, knit one row with knit stitches, and in the next row close all stitches except one. This is the first petal. For the next on the knitting needle with the remaining loop, cast on air loops one less than for the first petal. The loops can be cast off immediately or knit two more rows in stockinette stitch if you want to get a wider petal.

The main condition is to close the loops of the petal, returning to its beginning. Such petals need to be connected 10-12 pieces. For the next petals, gradually decreasenumber of loops. Leaves and stems

To make a knitted flower look more realistic, you can tie the stem and leaves to it. The stem is knitted with a hollow cord: cast on 3 loops on the knitting needle, knit with facial loops and transfer them back to the left knitting needle. Repeat this operation until the required stem length is obtained.

For a leaf, dial 3 loops, tie the stalk with a hollow cord. Edge loops are knitted in each row according to the pattern - it can be garter stitch or front surface. Yarn over for expansion are made in each front row to the left and right of the central loop in the leaf.

Knit like this to the desired width of the sheet, then knit a few rows without changes and begin to reduce the loops, knitting two loops together at the beginning and end of the RS rows or to the side of the central loop. When there are three loops left on the needle, knit them together. Having studied the principle of knitting the simplest leaf, in the future it is possible to create leaves with a more complex structure: with a jagged edge, with a pronounced vein in the center.
