Victory Day is a great celebration of the memory of how the war was stopped, destroying everything and everyone in its path. Applications for Victory Day should not be of a military nature, but on the contrary, express the end of the war. The main symbols of victory are, first of all, the St. George ribbon, white doves, and the main attributes of memory are the eternal flame and carnations. And the red star is the symbol of the army that won a great victory.
Materials
Applique on the theme "Victory Day" can be made from different materials. This is paper, and plasticine, and even fabric. You can even combine these materials to get an interesting application. A sheet of thick cardboard in a light shade, for example, blue - the color of a clear sky, is well suited for the substrate.
Paper
It will be good to make carnations out of paper. They will look more beautiful on applications for Victory Day, ifmake them voluminous.
Need to prepare: colored paper, scissors, glue.
To make a stem, you need to cut a long wide strip of green paper, roll it into a tube and glue it so that the paper does not unfold. The finished stalk needs to be slightly crushed and glued to the substrate. Next, cut out a leaf from green paper and glue it on the substrate to the stem. On top of the stem, you need to glue another piece of green paper to make a thickening - preparation for the flower petals.
It remains to make the flower itself. Cut it out of red paper. You will need to cut at least nine isosceles triangles. Fold each of them along the long side and glue - the resulting petals will look like a cone. They can also be flattened and a few cuts made on top to make it look like a fringe, like on carnation flowers.
The first 5 petals are fan-glued to the prepared top of the stem. The remaining petals are also glued like a fan, but already on top of the first row. The flower is ready! For an application for Victory Day, you can make several flowers and place them according to the type of bouquet.
Plasticine
Fire can be depicted from plasticine.
Need to prepare: plasticine, stick.
First you need to roll up the flagella from yellow, red and orange plasticine. The fire is bright in the center and darker at the edges. According to the same scheme, place plasticine flagella - more yellow in the center, then orange and red. Press the flagella to the cardboard.
Now with a stick or a toothpick we draw along the plasticine from belowup so that uneven, shallow grooves are obtained. It should look like torn flames. The eternal flame for the Victory Day application can be decorated in the base - a star - or made like a torch.
Fabric
Fabric is associated with softness and warmth. If you make a white dove out of fabric, this will add tenderness to the appliqué. White felt fabric is best.
Need to prepare: white felt cloth, pins, pencil, dove on paper, scissors, glue.
To save time on drawing, you can simply print a picture of a dove. Now you need to cut out the dove by elements, separately the body and wings. Attach these elements to the fabric, carefully pin them with pins so that they do not accidentally move out, and outline. And cut out the dove again, this time from fabric.
We stick the prepared fabric elements on the substrate. The beak and eyes can be made from paper. Glue the eyes directly on top of the fabric. In order for the outline of the dove to look more distinct, and the wings not to merge with the body, you need to carefully outline everything with a gray pencil.
St. George's ribbon in the application for the Victory Day can be used ready-made from fabric. Place it on the application so that it looks like the dove is carrying it in its beak or paws. Or "tie" a bouquet of carnations with it.
Conclusion
May 9 - Victory Day. An application on this topic should be bright, carry the joy of life, simultaneously reflecting traits of gratitude and pride. It can be very difficult to put such a meaning into a craft, but if you try, everything will definitely work out!
