Making a paper tulip is pretty easy. Even a four year old can do it. In addition, the result will please you - the flower turns out to be quite cute and pretty.
To make a paper tulip, we need a square-shaped sheet of yellow, red, purple or burgundy color to make a bud, as well as green paper for a leaf and a stalk on which the flower will be attached.
Production
Bend a square sheet of paper diagonally and immediately unfold it to its original position.
Bend the sheet horizontally in half again, unfold.
Now bend inward the longitudinal folds. Thus, you get a triangle with folds inside. This is the basic shape - a triangle, or "water bomb".
Fold the top bottom corners up to the top.
Turn over and do the same with other bottom corners face down.
Next, you need to bend the right corner. We got a rhombus with a fold in the middle. Now you need to flip the model and do the same thing again.
Edges and corners must face up.
Now you need to bend the right corner to the center. Bend the left corner with an overlap so that the right one is completely covered by it.
Now you need to turn the figure over and repeat the procedure again.
Next, tuck one corner into the other. Turn the model over and repeat this step again.
Our bud is almost ready! It remains only to find a hole at the very bottom and inflate it, and then carefully bend the petals.
In order for the paper tulip to have a finished look, you need to add a stem and a leaf.
Making a stem
Fold the stem with the leaf.
Turn the square sheet upside down.
Fold the right and left corners to the middle forward.
Fold the top side corners to the middle again.
Now you need to bend the figure horizontally in half, and then verticallyin half.
Pull on the inner triangle, slightly stretching it to the right side. Pin the new fold line.
Now it remains to connect the bud with the stem. That's all! The paper tulip is ready!
To create a beautiful composition, make several tulips of different colors, put them in a vase. Due to this, you can revive your interior and give it a spring mood. A composition of flowers from two shades will also look beautiful. For example, white and pink tulips or white and red (or white and purple). You can choose a shade that matches the color of the wallpaper or curtains, which will give your room a special charm and comfort.
