Let's take a closer look at weaving "French braid" rubber bands. The scheme proposed below implies weaving on a slingshot. It's much easier than working on a machine.

You will need two colors of rubber bands. You can take rubber bands from several colors. Let's use white and blue as an example.

Make a bracelet on a slingshot together

So, to understand how to weave rubber bands, follow these guidelines.

1. On a slingshot (if not, you can use two pencils orfingers) put on a white rubber band, twisting it into a figure-eight.
2. Next, put the blue and white elastic bands on two columns, without twisting.
3. Using a crochet hook or fingers (this is not very convenient), slip the first white elastic band into the middle.
4. Pull another blue elastic band, slip off the lower blue elastic band on the left side, and white on the right side (it should be in the center)
5. Add another white elastic band and drop the lower blue loop on the right side and the middle blue loop on the left.
6. On the next blue elastic band, throw off the white loops on both sides.
7. Keep doing this until you get the desired length of bracelet.
8. At the end you will have one elastic band on two columns. Pass one loop through the other and remove the bracelet from the slingshot. Attach a clasp.

How to weave a doll on a loom

1. Pull one elastic band for every two columns in a row, joining them.

3. This will be the hair, the length of which you adjust yourself. Weave four of thesebraids using the standard braiding method.



4. Proceed to the arms and sleeves of the jacket. Pull two elastic bands (of the color that the clothes will be) on the first posts.
5. Next, take the flesh-colored elastic bands and put them on the columns, connecting them, as in the case of hair. On the last column, wrap the elastic band three times. Continue to weave according to the pattern.



6. You can start the skirt. Pull two elastic bands of different colors onto the posts according to the scheme: 1-2 2-3. Weave further according to the pattern.
7. Now you can start putting all the pieces together. Wind the silicone rubber bands together by connecting all three rows of the loom.



8. To make the eyes, take the elastic bands of your choice and wind them four times around the second columns of the extreme rows. Connect the side columns with eyes to the central column. Remove the loops so that they are in the middle.
9. To make a neck, put a couple of elastic bands on the center row.
10. Connect the far center post to the post on the right side, then on the left side. Thus, connect the blanks of the arms with the sides of the torso.
11. For the skirt, pull two elastic bands in each row, making three steps.
12. Step down three steps with flesh-colored rubber bands. Wrap the elastic bands of a different color three times on the last two columns to make boots. Make the second leg with the boot in the same way.
13. Now start weaving in the standard way, as alreadyhas been described. Throw stitches first from the left row, then the right and finally the center.
