Why buy stuffed toys when you can make your own?

Not only children, but also adults will be able to make various funny animals with their own hands. Sock toys are made easily, simply and quickly. Almost any toy can be made from this piece of clothing: a bunny, a doll, an elephant, a giraffe, a snake and many others. You will need some more materials: synthetic winterizer or cotton wool for stuffing, buttons, threads, needles, bows to decorate the finished toy.

The advantage of such a craft is the low cost of its manufacture, which means that it will not be a pity if something happens to it during the game. Sock toys are an occasion to please your baby once again, to give him a gift. Such a cute craft can be presented as a small souvenir when visiting.

It's quite easy to make toys out of socks. A master class with a step-by-step description can be found in any source. Or you can show your imagination and do everything yourself.

What if we try to make a bunny? To do this, you need two identical socks. From one we will make a head with ears, and from the other - a torso with legs. We cut off the elastic from both socks: in one case a little more, inthe other a little less. It is good to take socks with a white heel and toe. Then we cut these socks lengthwise in the lower part, without cutting a couple of centimeters to the heel. We take a sock, which in the future will be the head of a hare. We cut off the lower white tips from it, we will make a tail out of them, sewing it round and stuffing it with filler. We sew the resulting ears, it should be noted that you need to sew from the wrong side. We fill the resulting form with filler, the heel will be the muzzle of a hare. Pulling the heel with a thread in a certain way, we get the “mustache” and the nose of the hare. Sew on the nose, eyes from buttons or material of a different color.

From the other sock we make the torso. We also sew the “legs” from the inside out, turn it inside out, stuff it, sew it up. The heel in this case is the back of the hare. We sew a tail made in advance to it. Then we sew the toes with a needle and thread. Sew the torso and head together.

From the cut elastic, you will need to make the front legs of a hare and sew to the body. That's it, the bunny is ready!

Similarly, such soft toys are made from socks as baby dolls. From the sock you need to cut off the upper part with an elastic band and the heel. The elastic band will act as a cap, and from the heel we will make a head. So, the cut off heel needs to be aligned to a circle, pass a thread into it and tighten it, you get a ball. We fill it, sew on the eyes - beads, you can embroider them with threads, mouth and nose. To create a hat, you need to overcast the cut off elastic, then thread the thread, stepping back about a centimeter from the edge, and pull it off. It turns out a hat-cockerel. We put it on our heads.

Now you need to make the body of the baby doll. To do this, at the bottom of the sock, mark the position of the legs and arms. For the legs, we sew a seam about 6 centimeters long in the middle of the toe, for the hands - stepping back one centimeter from the edge, we make seams five centimeters deep. We fill the body with filler, tighten it from above. The final touch is to sew the head with the body. The seam can be made invisible by covering it with a bow.

The cost of making such a craft is quite insignificant, because you don’t have to buy almost anything - everyone has the necessary materials at home.
