What do we need?

• The main thing is, of course, old jeans.
• A piece of cardboard (you will need it to make a pattern).
• Scissors.
• Pencil.
• Chalk
• Needle.
• Threads.
• Sewing machine.

Let's consider step by step how to sew slippers from jeans with your own hands with a pattern. You can see for yourself that creating comfortable indoor shoes is very easy. One day - one pair of slippers.

First step: making a pattern

The easiest option: take it ready. It needs to be printed and enlarged torequired size. But after all, the pattern can be done by yourself, and it is very simple to do it. To make it, take a sheet of cardboard, a pencil and a ruler. Place your foot on the cardboard and circle it around the outline. Add one centimeter on each side. Cut out the template.

Now you need to make a pattern for the top of slippers from jeans with your own hands. It is a semicircle, similar in size to the bottom. Add two centimeters on the left and right sides.

Second stage: preparing the material

Iron all the details again. Arrange as neededparts.

Fourth stage: making out the top of the slipper

Fold denim with padding polyester, which is sandwiched between pieces of denim, like in a sandwich. Fix the parts with sewing pins and baste them, retreating from the edge by 1.5 cm. Sew the nose separately. Do the same with the other slipper.

Fifth stage: working with the sole

Connect all parts of the sole with sewing pins according to the already known scheme: synthetic winterizer between denim bases. Sew them around the perimeter. Also baste part of the sock separately. Repeat with the sole for the other leg. All this will be useful in further actions.

Sixth step: connecting the sole and upper

The most responsible step. The fact is that the strength and convenience of do-it-yourself jeans slippers depend on this. Be extremely careful at this stage.

Start with the left slipper. Connect the upper and sole with sewing pins.

Remember that a synthetic winterizer must be inserted between the fabric. Details from it are better to make a little less. So the liners will not be stitched. From this slippers will only become more comfortable and durable.

Do the same manipulations with the right slipper. Home shoes are almost ready. It remains only to decorate it.

Seventh stage: decorating slippers

Choose your favorite idea. Or you can show your imagination and create your own design of jeans slippers with your own hands.

1. Tapes. Consider this decoration option. Take a 60 cm ribbon and cut it into four pieces of the same length. Tie a beautiful bow out of two ribbons. Cut its ends obliquely and solder them with a lit match. Do the same for the second bow. Attach one embellishment to each slipper. To do this, fasten the middle of the bow knot with the shoes themselves with stitches using a needle and thread.
