Of course, in order to work with polymer clay, you will need the clay itself. It can be bought both in needlework stores and in boutiques designed for artists, sculptors, or in supermarkets for creativity. Optionally, you can choose either a self-hardening mass, or one that requires firing. You will also need toothpicks, baking paper, a clerical knife, old beads, accessories, and, of course, fantasy. And now that you are allprepared, you can start such an exciting and exciting process as plastic modeling.

How to do it

There are more than ten techniques, each of which deserves special attention. But in order for plastic modeling for beginners not to become something very difficult, we will analyze the simplest and most accessible of them.

Take three to five colors of clay. They can be either contrasting or perfectly in harmony with each other (choose according to your taste). Roll out the clay into thin cakes no more than 1 mm thick. Stack one on top of the other. Roll out a little and push the holes with a toothpick so as not to damage the bottom layer. Roll out a little more. Now put the workpiece in the refrigerator for 8-15 minutes. After that, carefully shape the product with a clerical knife and start cutting off thin layers.

When you have a pattern that matches your idea of the perfect earrings, make a hole with a toothpick to fasten the clasp - and you can fire it.

Have you already made sure that plastic modeling is quite simple? If not, then we continue. But what to do with scraps and leftover mass? Roll them into a bundle, and then divide into equal parts. Carefully form them into balls. Run in until perfectly smooth and poke holes in the center with a toothpick.
