How to learn to embroider?

Embroidery is not a very difficult craft. And every person can learn it. The training won't take long. One evening is enough to learn. For embroideryrequired:

  1. Fabric for embroidery. For cross stitching, you need canvas. Aida is better.
  2. Floss threads.
  3. Embroidery needles. Their difference from sewing ones is that you need a large eye for embroidery.
  4. Cross stitch pattern for watches. They are colored and with symbols. Each shade of color represents a symbol. But, according to needlewomen, color schemes are more convenient to work with.

How to assemble an embroidered watch yourself?

First you need to unwind the clock and put the parts in a separate container so that small items are not lost. We remove all the arrows. From the clock you need to peel off the dial (the paper on which it is drawn) and circle it on a clean, thick sheet of paper. Cut out this circle and do not forget to mark a hole in the center for the arrows. You need to stick double-sided tape on the paper and lay our embroidery evenly on this circle. Along the edges of the circle, you should also glue double-sided tape and fix the embroidery on it,so that it does not move and does not bend. Now you need to cut the fabric along the contour of the paper, and then cut a hole for the arrows in the middle of the embroidery. Now we put the new dial with embroidery on the pin for the arrows and position it exactly vertically so that everything is even and the numbers are not shifted. We attach the hands in place and put the new dial into the clock. We return all the screws to their place and tighten them tightly. The embroidered watch is ready.
