And also in the fact that good always triumphs over evil, wherever fate brings the main character. Therefore, books with a fabulous plot, with worlds in which everything is possible, are perceived as a balm for the soul, as a break from a difficult and so ordinary life.

In modern literature, few authors create quality works in the fantasy genre. It is very difficult to combine an exciting plot, a good style, humor and the logic of the story. But there are exceptions, and one of them is the writer Yulia Trunina.

Yulia Trunina was born on October 4, 1980. Lives in Nizhny Novgorod. Graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University with a degree in primary education.

Yulia Trunina's work began as a child, when she came up with exciting stories for children she knew. From the age of 18 she began to write them down, only with time children's storiesturned into fantasy - fairy tales for adults. Almost nothing is known about the personal life of the writer.

The author writes in fantasy style. The main character of the books is a girl named Illiya Latskaya, who has the abilities of a strong magician. She always finds herself in various difficult situations, but courageously copes with them in order to immediately fall into the next insidious trap.

Yulia Trunina has a very detailed narrative. Starting to read, from the first pages you are immersed in the intricacies of family and monarchical ties. However, there are certain inconveniences in this: the more you read, the more such an overload of sentences begins to strain. Sometimes historical references are so ornate that you already get lost in the relatives of one of the heroes and in his past exploits. The story is told from the perspective ofthe main character, then from a third person and you get lost from this.

As in any fantasy, the plot is full of elves, demons, powerful magicians and other fairy-tale characters. But they are expressed like our contemporaries - with modern words and phrases.

Reviews of Julia's books are generally good. Fans of fantasy note that the author writes novels "about girls for girls", therefore, thanks to the young heroine of the work, you can try on all the miracles for yourself and even more worry about Illiya Latskaya, the eccentric almighty sorceress.

Unfortunately, there is a very sad moment in this whole story with elves and magicians. Julia's first books were published in 2010 and 2011. Continuation - a little later, but new chapters appeared very slowly, several a year. At the moment, the author of books has stopped writing, and readers are left without interesting, “tasty” reading. Fans of Yulia Trunina's books are looking forward to the continuation, but so far the writer has taken a break in her work.
