For the New Year and Christmas holidays, people always make a lot of different crafts and souvenirs. Moreover, every year we are visited by more and more new ideas that we want to translate into reality. However, many of them are not so new. One of them is a Christmas angel. It is quite simple to create the image of an angel with your own hands, you just need to be patient and call on fantasy to help. There are a lot of options for making a cute souvenir. Let's take a look at some of them.

Angels DIY: master class

You don't need any complicated tools or materials to make this little angel. To make one (but usually they don’t stop at one copy, but make several at once), you need to take:

• cotton pads - 2 pcs;
• scissors;
• threads are white;

We need scissors to cut the threads,which, by the way, will require quite a bit. You can thread the needle in advance.

Preparatory stage

So, we divide the cotton pad into two parts - it turns out from one circle two thin ones. To make an angel, we need three thin disks.

From the first we will make wings. How? Yes, it's very simple: take a thread and tie the disc in the middle, tightening the knot.

From another cotton pad we will make a dress. To do this, fold it in the form of a cone.

And from the third circle we will make the head of an angel. To do this, put a small piece of cotton wool or a napkin inside the disc. Let's form a ball and drag the thread from below, making a few stitches.

Assembly

Assemble the figurine: sew the head and wings to the body. New Year's or Christmas (as you like) angel with your own hands is ready! You can also make a small garland of angels, fastening them together with a thread, especially since this kind of craft is not at all difficult to make. Angels can be given not only for Christmas or New Year, but also for Angel Day, Valentine's Day, or just like that, to cheer you up. And hang a garland of angels over the front door: let them protect your house from all evil spirits!

Christmas angel. We make a small miracle with our own hands

Cut out three rectangles from foil: 12x3cm, 8x3cm, 8x3cm. And yet - a square 6x6cm. These are blanks for the arms, legs, torso and head of our craft. We roll the square into a ball with a diameter of about one and a half cm. And crush the foil stripsalong the entire length, we roll it so that we get a wire two to three mm thick. From plasticine we make a cake five mm thick, we wrap it around a ball rolled from a square of foil. This will be the head of an angel (set it aside to dry).

Cut a paper napkin into long strips (two cm wide). We wrap the foil wires with these overlapping strips in two layers. Bend the wire for the legs in half; we connect the handles-legs with the body and wrap them with strips of napkins. We wrap the entire figure with threads to give it strength. In fact, these do-it-yourself angel dolls, made from ordinary foil and napkins, resemble motanka dolls that have been so popular lately.

Let's move on. Take a napkin, fold it like for cutting a snowflake. Cut out patterns. Then we straighten the napkin and wrap the doll - this will be a dress. In the same way, we make the sleeves of a dress from a napkin (pink can be). We fix them with a thread. We wrap the handles. The outfit can be decorated with a colored ribbon.

Put the head on a wire pin. Draw eyes, nose, mouth. Cut out the wings from the napkin and attach them behind the back of the figurine. If desired, make a halo out of copper wire.

So our angel is ready. It turned out to be so easy to make with his own hands!
